Featuring a seasonal selection of Fresh cut flowers, jams and jellies, potted herbs, fresh baked goods, heirloom tomatoes, coffee and more. Music will entertain you starting on May 26 for the rest of the season. Join us every Saturday from April 28 thru Oct. 17, 2012 on the lawn at the Bit & Spur and enjoy the festivities.

Rim to Floor or Rim and Back
Need to stretch your legs a bit? Join a ZCFI naturalist as we hike either the East Mesa Trail to Observation Point down to the canyon floor at Weeping Rock or the East Rim Trail to Deertrap Mountain and back. Our actual destination will be determined the morning of the hike depending on the vehicles that our at our disposal. Either hike affords fantastic views in all directions.Along the way we’ll talk geology, botany, some biology, and desert ecosystems. We’ll pass through several of Zion’s geologic layers, and enjoy incredible rim vistas. We’ll stop at a nice spot somewhere on the rim for our picnic lunch. Enjoy one of Zion’s premier hikes and learn a lot about the desert you love along the way! Limited to 8 participants. YOU MUST BE IN FIT HIKING SHAPE TO PARTICIPATE IN THIS STRENUOUS, ALL-DAY, 7-8 MILE HIKE!!!!!!!!!!!! Fee: $65 Instructor: Various Ages: 16 years and up Meets: 8 am at Zion Human History Museum

Equality Celebration in Kayenta
Come dressed in your favorite equality era-from the 50's,60's,70's to the present and join an Equality Celebration held under the beautiful Kayenta Sky at Coyote Gulch Art Village. The evening will begin at 5:30 with entertainment by the West Coast Jazz players along with a silent auction, prize drawings and a photo booth to capture the memories. You will then be seated and served dinner under the skies while being treated to an inspiring program and entertainment. After dinner the party will continue with the outdoor theater being transformed in a Studio 54 Disco dance! Event not recommended for children under 13. Downtown Farmers Market-Ancestor Square
The Downtown Farmers Market at Ancestor Square is a non-profit community project to promote the downtown area as well as promoting organic gardening and homemade crafts and goods. The Market will be held every Saturday morning from 8am noon in the Courtyard at Ancestor Square. The Market will begin May 12 and continue through October 27, 2012. The vendor booths will be located around the perimeter of the Courtyard at Ancestor Square allowing the lawn and central area to be used by customers to enjoy the morning and listen to the live music performed on the center stage.
